Guess & Know, as well as Guess & Know Companion, collects no personal information about you. Even the analytics reporting (new in version 1.3) sends nothing you type in (category names, questions, answers, game names, player names... nothing!)
You have the option to share your status of your games with friends on social media, and we make it as easy a couple of taps. If you include the hash tag #guessandknow in your tweets, we are following those, but only as anyone else would: to see how much fun players are having!
If you choose to Contact Us we will treat all communications with the utmost of confidentiality.
We have elected to use Google Analytics on this website. If you do not wish these analytics to be updated by your use of this website, an Internet search for "Do Not Track" tools will likely provide you a browser plugin that will disable search engine tracking for you. Our primary purpose for using analytics on this site is to understand screen size for design layout: Guess & Know is an iPad application, so we're very interested in knowing whether most people are viewing our website from their iPad or from a desktop browser, and whether we need to keep content sized within the iPad screen size. Our secondary purpose is to understand what languages are the default languages in use when visiting the resources on this site. At the time of this writing we have not localized this website nor Guess & Know and we need feedback on when it makes commercial sense to do so.
